During the AQ GFIT Needling procedure, patients can expect to feel a sensation similar to light to moderate sandpaper being rubbed on their skin. The needles in the device penetrate the skin at a controlled depth, which may cause some slight discomfort or a mild stinging sensation.

• The skin may be slightly red and/or irritated which lasts for about 24 hours
• Be sure not to scratch or rub the skin
• Keep the skin well moisturised to minimise peeling/flaking of the skin
• Do not peel the skin off by yourself
• Swimming, use of alcohol based products and makeup should be avoided for 48-72 hours.
• Don’t use any acidic products such as retinol until the peeling process is completed.
• Protect the skin with a good SPF50 and avoid sun exposure as much as possible.
